We introduce our self as an Association Balasore Chamber of Industries & Commerce is a registered Association of Large, Medium, Small & Micro Industries, trade, Service & Commerce functioning since 1989.
The objectives of the chamber are
To have a common forum to represent the members of the Chamber in all matters relating to industrial, commercial and labour matters before the Government, Tribunals, Labour Court or any other authority or court.
To facilitate for promotion of industry, Trade & service in the district of Balasore and around.
To represent and safe-guard the interest of the members of the Chamber before the Government or any other authority, labour court, other courts and Tribunal with respect to their grievances, difficulties and disputes or otherwise.
To make efforts for promoting harmonious, congenial and peaceful relationship between the members of the chamber and their workmen /Employees and to settle their disputes.
To promote, assists and co-ordinate the activities of any other Chamber / Association with similar objectives and to affiliate such Associations with this chamber and to affiliate the chamber with other similar Association.
To promote good relation and better understanding among the members of the Chamber.
To promote and supports cultural, social and philanthropic activities.
To raise funds and accept donations / gifts etc. for the creation of fixed assets , its management expenses & for various activities for the common benefit of the members & the society in general.
To organize exhibitions, trade fair and capacity building of enterprises & Artisans.
Counseling for enterprise promotion.
Data Bank for use of planners, Policy makers & Entrepreneurs.
Assist New Entrepreneurs to set up his Industry/Trade/Services.

Railway Station Consultative Committee (SCC) This organization because of its participation various developmental activities , earned a good will both with state Govt. & Central Govt. organization like Director of Industries, MSME Development Institute, Govt. of India, SIDBI, SBI, NABARD & District administration etc. The Chamber also participating in policy making activities of State Govt. The Chamber is also getting assignments from both State & Central Govt., allied Institutions like SIDBI, EDI for conducting survey of Industries, Diagnostic Study for cluster Development, Evaluation Study etc. The Chamber made survey of Industries of Balasore, Bhadrak & Mayurbhanj districts and created a Date Bank for the guidance & reference of Planner, Policy makers & Entrepreneurs. The chamber made diagnostic study of plastic Cluster at Balasore assigned by Director of Industries, Orissa, Cuttack Conducted Evaluation Study of Vender Development Programme of Govt. of India for the state of Orissa. A Sub-Contract Exchange being supported by Development Commissioner, MSME, Govt. of India is now functioning at Chamber created facilities like Fax , DTP, Xerox, Internet, Spiral Binding , Counseling for Enterprise Promotion & Training to entrepreneurs. The Chamber organizes Seminar, Workshop, Awareness Programs on various topics related to development of Industry, Trade, Commerce & Service Sector, Exhibition & Trade-Fair in association with SIDBI, MSME Development Institute, SBI, D.I. Orissa and other developmental organizations. The Chamber is organizing Vender Development Programs-Cum-Trade Fair / Industrial Exhibition almost every year either in association with MSME Development Institute, Govt. of India or with District Administration. It participates in various Developmental Activities of the Balasore district in collaboration of District Administration. The Chamber submits Representation/Memorandum; interact with both State Govt. & Central Govt. Authorities relating to various issues of its Members including Social issues from time to time.
